CBC with differential
Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
Peripheral Blood Smear
Thick Smear of Peripheral Blood
Heterophile Antibody Test
Prothrombin Time (PT)/Activated Partial Thromboplastin time (aPTT)
Serum BUN and creatinine
Lactate dehydrogenase level
Liver function tests
Thyroid function tests
Serum iron studies (iron, total iron binding capacity, ferritin)
