V. PATHOPHYSIOLOGY

In light of the laboratory data you have obtained so far, what is the next step you should take to make a definitive diagnosis?

Test whether the father is HPA-1a (PLA1) positive
Determine the antigenic specificity of the antibody
Perform extended RBC antigen typing on the mother and child
Determine the HLA type of the mother and child
